Breann started working at Powderhouse as a kennel technician and playtime attendant when starting college. After graduating with a Biology Degree, she switched to working full time and has been at Powderhouse ever since! She has always wanted to work with animals and loves helping to care for all the guests at the resort. She has three dogs of her own, two Pomeranians named Aspen and Bijou, and a Rottweiler mix named Chance. You’ll usually find Aspen and Bijou at the front desk and Chance is almost always at the pool. A few special customers know Chance’s story of being abandoned at Powderhouse with his siblings at only 3-4 weeks old. After finding his siblings loving homes, Breann ended up keeping Chance. He basically grew up here! In her spare time she enjoys gardening, watching sports, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Donna has loved animals her whole life,but dogs have a special place in her heart.
Her journey evolves a variety of dog related sports. Obedience, flyball, and agility training . Competitive in lure coursing and entering her Chinese Crested dogs in AKC shows as an Owner/Handler, proudly receiving AKC New Champion Title on Gisele, finishing with an AKC Grand Champion title on Bacardi was a dream!

Leslie has been at Powderhouse 20+ years She loves working with dogs and making her clients beautiful. She specializes in small breeds and terriers. Leslie lives with affenpinschers and a terrier-mix rescue. When not working she enjoys spending time with her own dogs, going to the movies, reading, shopping, and going to dog shows.

Kandy was the original owner of Powderhouse Pet Resort. She built Powderhouse Pet Resort in 1986. Kandy started her grooming career at her mother’s grooming shop, The Doggery, in Aiken, SC starting in 1975. vAfter selling PPR Kandy asked if she could groom part time – and we were glad to have her!
Kandy really like dog grooming but mostly she loves spending time with her fur clients and her fellow dog groomers here at Powderhouse Pet Resort.

Terra is a mother of two boys named Cameron and Tyler, and two fur babies named Bud and Myrtle. She also has a grand-dog named Storm. Terra enjoys working for Powderhouse Pet Resort because of her love for animals and the happiness they bring her. When she’s not working Terra enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and streaming television.
