Welcome to a cat lovers paradise. From the moment you step through the doors and enter the separate building that houses the Cat Condos and Villas, you will know that you are in a very special place.

This exclusively "cats only" space features large windows with numerous soft perching places for your pet to view the outside world. An oversized fish tank with brightly colored fish is maintained to keep your pet stimulated. To help maintain your treasured pet's sense of security and as a calming measure, the feline building is equipped with both radio and television which remain on 24/7.

This unique environment is designed to pamper and stimulate your pet while they enjoy tremendous amounts of love and personal attention. If your pet requires medication, it will be administered as prescribed by your pet's veterinarian.

Affectionately Known as "The Cat Lady"

Meet Our Feline Care Manager

Donnette has been working with Powderhouse Pet Resort for over 20 years. The Cat Lady, as Donnette is now known, grins when she says that aside from pet grooming, she's done every job at the Pet Resort. She admits that she has always been a dog lover but has now jumped the fence to be a full fledged cat lover. She is assisted in this new position by a crew of three Kennel cats. There is Marvin, an old-timer who's made his home among the guest for over 20 years, along with Willie, a seven-year resident.

 It's been said that if you give Donnette an hour with your cat, she will know your pet better than you do. After spending some time with her you will realize that statement is true. Once Donnette is familiar with your cat's temperament she can easily decide what is best for your cat, freedom to roam or seclusion in one of our luxurious cat villas or condos.


Meet Linda Quadt
Feline attendant

Linda Quadt retired from the health care field after serving in the USA. She worked with local animal rights groups to feed, vaccinate, and spey/neuter strays in the community. Linda has three cats at home (all strays), who are her great companions. Linda enjoys working with the cats at Powderhouse, and always looks forward to meeting new felines as well as the regulars.

Powderhouse loves Linad, as she is always eager to make every cat's stay an enjoyable experience.
